SUNY Oswego students doing research in Brazil's Pantanal region.
Oswego's faculty and students actively participate in research, creative work and other scholarly activities. The college stresses the importance of undergraduate research opportunities, enabling advanced research for undergraduates that other institutions only offer at the graduate level. We have outstanding facilities that help students gain hands-on experience.
Hundreds of students share findings at Quest, our annual daylong celebration of scholarly and creative activities. Our new innovative programs include the Possibility Scholars program for first-generation students studying science, or our Global Laboratories letting you conduct research on any of the seven continents.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs develops, coordinates and administers Oswego's sponsored research and scholarly activity programs, and related grants. You can find this representative for the SUNY Research Foundation in Room 4 of Penfield Library (315.312.2890).
For more information on scholarly activities of our faculty and students, see the Research News page.
