State offers disaster preparedness training in Oswego on Oct. 28

New York State is offering two-hour training sessions for residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible. In Oswego, a session will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, in SUNY Oswego’s Marano Campus Center auditorium.

In Memoriam: Susan Keim Weber

Susan Keim Weber, 73, passed away this week (Oct. 13) at her home in Hancock Point, Maine. She was a former adjunct instructor of communication studies at SUNY Oswego and wife of the college’s ninth president, Stephen L. Weber.
