2009-2010
Nianyong Wang Professor Wang is from the School of Banking and Insurance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and will be a scholar-in-residence at the SUNY Oswego School of Business. Professor Wang will be conducting research and collaborating with faculty in the areas of financial liberalization, financial reform, China’s financial reform history, Chinese securities, and market history.
2008-2009
Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah Professor Shah is from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Islamabad and was a scholar-in-residence at the SUNY Oswego School of Business. Professor Shah conducted research and collaborated with faculty in the areas of corporate governance, market efficiency, ownership structure, financial reporting, and earnings and performance evaluation of firms.
Yuan Hui Professor Hui is from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and was a scholar-in-residence at the SUNY Oswego School of Business. Professor Hui conducted research and collaborated with faculty in the area of risk management and insurance.
Zhengcai Liu Professor Liu is from Shanghai Normal University and was a scholar-in-residence at the SUNY Oswego School of Business until February 2009. Professor Liu was conducting research and collaborating with faculty in the area of international business and enterprise management.
2007-2008
Lingjie Meng Professor Meng is from Nanjing University of Science & Technology and was a scholar-in-residence at the SUNY Oswego School of Business. Professor Meng was conducting research and collaborating with faculty in the areas of productivity and efficiency analysis and quantitative methodology.
Chaoyang Zhou Professor Zhou is from Wuhan University of Technology and was a scholar-in-residence at the SUNY Oswego School of Business. Professor Zhou was conducting research and collaborating with faculty in the areas of theory and method of financial management, financing, cost management and control, taxation laws and tax planning, and internal accounting control.
Yang Shengping Professor Shengping is from Capital Normal University in China and was a scholar-in-residence at the SUNY Oswego School of Business. Dr. Shengping's research interests included the basis of Philosophy, theory of ideology, modern and contemporary western philosophy, and theory of Chinese and foreign cultures.
2005-2006
Omer Iscan The School of Business hosted Dr. Omer Iscan, a visting scholar from Turkey from June 27th, to September 23rd (2005). Dr. Iscan, an assistant professor from Ataturk University, received a scholarship through his university to pursue research in the United States and interact with American faculty. Dr. Iscan has published articles in the areas of Organizational Behavior and Leadership, Human Resources, Ethics and International Business. Before returning to Ataturk University, Dr. Iscan presented his work on transformational leadership in global business at a School of Business research symposium. The research symposiums are an opportunity for faculty to share their work in progress with colleagues.
