The objectives of the programs in the School of Business are:
- To prepare capable men and women for responsible entry level positions in business, industry, and public organizations.
- To prepare outstanding students for graduate study.
- To furnish a relevant program of continuing education and service for our alumni.
In order to accomplish these goals, a program has been designed whose purpose is to provide competence in a core of basic theory, techniques, processes and technologies common in business activities. In addition, specialization is encouraged through several targeted degrees offered.

Committed to outstanding teaching, the faculty are actively engaged in research and consulting. Other resources include computer facilities, a large and growing library collection in the field, modern media technology.
In addition, the School of Business works closely with the International Education Office to facilitate Overseas Study, and with the Experience-Based Education office to encourage internships.
