Assistant Professor of Human Computer Interaction

 

The Human Computer Interaction (HCI) program at SUNY Oswego (http://www.oswego.edu/hci) invites applicants for a tenure-track position in Human Computer Interaction at the Assistant Professor level.  We prefer candidates with a Ph.D. but will consider outstanding A.B.D. candidates. Responsibilities include:

teaching  graduate level introduction to HCI, HCI methods and graduate and undergraduate courses in the candidates area of interest, supervising student projects, active involvement in the development of the HCI program and an on-going HCI research program.  Primary criteria for the review of candidates will be evidence of potential for teaching excellence, a quality research program, credentials in Human Computer Interaction.

 

Review of completed applications begins December 1, 2006 and will continue until the position is filled.
