Mathematics Honors Program

The Mathematics Honors Program is a program whereby certain exceptional students, capable of understanding material of a more advanced nature than that presented in standard mathematical courses and having the inclination to understand this more advanced material, are given the opportunity to do so within the general framework of their curriculum. Students completing their sophomore year with a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.4 mathematics GPA may apply for admission into the program at that time. A complete description of the program and application forms may be obtained in the Department of Mathematics Office.
