Psychology - the scientific study of human and animal behavior and how such knowledge can be applied - is useful in many contexts, including health care, education, business, industry, sports and law. SUNY Oswego's Psychology Department offers a superior program taught in an exciting atmosphere. In addition to a solid foundation in general psychology and research methods, a degree in psychology offers options in health psychology, human factors and neuropsychology. Along with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, the Department of Psychology offers a degree in Human Development and has partnered with other departments to offer degrees in Cognitive Science, Linguistics, Philosophy - Psychology, and a graduate program in Human Computer Interaction.
