Extended Learning offers both courses and degrees that can be pursued on your schedule.

The Part-Time Degree program is designed to provide an opportunity for adults to pursue a degree on a part-time basis. The program is intended to give an educational alternative to those individuals whose primary roles include: employment, parenting, and other adult activities. Nationally, adults comprise 52% of all students in higher education.

SUNY Oswego currently offers undergraduate part-time degrees in four disciplines: Business Administration, Accounting, Information Science, Public Justice as well as a minor in Economics. These classes are offered periodically during a variety of hours, including evening (after 5:30 pm), weekends, or online for people with adult responsibilities.
