Welcome to the State University of New York at Oswego [SUNY Oswego]. There are three main criteria for admission, whether at the Undergraduate or Graduate levels of study:
- Documented, strong academic work, received on an official transcript from all appropriate and prior schools.
- Documented adequate financial support, readily accessible within the USA. Financial Documentation Form for undergrads, MBA and other graduate applications.
- Documented English language abilities. This may include national language, mother tongue, language of prior degree or secondary school study, or appropriate IELTS or TOEFL scores. For further information see English for Academic Purposes. SUNY Oswego's TOEFL code is 2543.
Undergraduate Application
Applications should be complete in all respects by November 1st for the Spring/January semester and by May 1st for the Fall/August semester.

Graduate Application
Applications should be complete in all respects by November 1st for the Spring/January semester and by May 1st (April 15th for MBA ONLY) for the Fall/August semester.

Note: Graduate applications will require references and a GMAT or GRE score of at least 450 to 500, depending on the major chosen.
