In any journey, the first step is the most important. Because we want the first step at Oswego to lead you down the road to success, we have developed a variety of first year programs. Orientation welcomes you with fun, family-friendly sessions that serve as a "how-to" manual of starting at college. The FirstChoice program provides a menu of course offerings that will help you transition to the responsibilities of being a college student. Our First-Year Residential Experience presents an environment that every year helps hundreds of incoming freshmen learn how to make the most of their college years. First-Year Advisement offers sound advice from the start as you pursue your degree.
