The Research Foundation of the State University of New York seeks a Program Coordinator to assist the Project Director in coordinating the planning and delivery of services to students participating in the U.S.E.D. Ronald E McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program and the Collegiate Science Technology Entry Program (CSTEP). Both programs provide research and scholarly opportunities as well as financial aid and academic advisement to prepare undergraduates beyond the baccalaureate. This is a grant-funded position with the Research Foundation located on the SUNY Oswego campus.
The position requires a Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel Administration, Counseling or related STEM discipline; a demonstrated knowledge of conducting research; and knowledge of the current trends within the science, technology, engineering and math fields. Demonstrated experience in working with underrepresented students, the ability to work with faculty and college administrators to recruit, support mentors and instructors in building collaborative partnerships are strongly desired.
