The number of full time teaching faculty totaled 319 during the Fall of 2008.The number of part time teaching faculty totaled 197 during the Fall of 2008.

Eighty-three percent of the full-time teaching faculty hold doctorate degrees or a highest terminal degree, and seventeen percent have master’s degrees.

Sixty-two percent of eligible faculty members are tenured.

Twenty-nine percent of full time faculty with tenure, or currently on tenure track, hold the rank of professor; thirty-five percent hold the rank of associate professor and thirty-six percent hold the rank of assistant pro­fessor.
