GUIDELINES FOR TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
State University of New York at Oswego

M/C Tuition Reimbursement Program:
Application is made directly to SUNY System Administration.  This program reimburses M/C employees 75% of the costs up to a maximum of $2,000 per year.  See

UUP Tuition Assistance Program:
Application is made through the Office of Extended Learning, 166 Campus Center, x2270.  This program waives full tuition expenses for UUP employees for one course per semester or session.  Courses under this program are offered on a space available basis.

Public Service Training Program (PSTP)
Employees represented by the Public Employees Federation (PEF) may be eligible for two PSTP vouchers at a participating institution.  Reimbursement of up to $600 is also available for workshop and conference attendance.  For more details please visit

NYS & CSEA Partnership Tuition Benefits (formerly LEAP)
Applications are available through the Office of Human Resources, 410 Culkin Hall, or by calling 1-800-253-4332.  This year the program provides one tuition benefit, for a maximum of four credits at $207 per credit.  See

SUNY B-140W Tuition Waiver Program
Application is made directly through the Provost's Office, 702 Culkin Hall.  Documentation of other tuition support requests/payments is required.  This program is used for supplemental support AFTER the full-time employee has sought/received support from other sources.  Actual support received varies, but traditionally maximum amounts are 75% for either graduate or undergraduate coursework for the first course and 50% for the second course up to two courses per semester.

NOTE: B-140W funds are available on a "first come-first served" basis.  Applications should be filed as soon as possible.
