SUNY OSWEGO COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT
UNITED WAY'S DAY OF CARING
OSWEGO --The SUNY Oswego campus community will recognize the United Way of Greater Oswego County's Day of Caring program through a "Kids' Things from Cradle to Kindergarten" drive from Sept. 4 to 12.
Those looking to help are asked to take contributions of new or gently used items -- such as baby formula, diapers, toiletries, furniture, clothing, toys, games and school supplies -- to departmental, Student Association, parking or residence hall offices on campus.
Donations will help the community's youngest members through United Way agencies that include Oswego County Opportunities, Oswego County Catholic Charities, Success by Six, Salvation Army, Pulaski Day Care Center, American Red Cross, Oswego Child Care Council and the Children's Center.
The United Way Day of Caring project is sponsored by SUNY Oswego's Civil Service Employees Association, United University Professions, Student Association, Center for Service Learning and Community Services, Center for Business and Community Programs and the Office of the President.
