OSWEGO -- President Deborah F. Stanley will open her office doors to members of the SUNY Oswego community this semester to hear their concerns and suggestions. She will hold regular afternoon Open Hours most weeks, beginning Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Stanley said she is looking forward to hearing from students. A member of her office staff will sit in on the sessions to take notes on the issues raised and suggestions for dealing with them. She said she plans to follow up, when necessary, with calls to campus administrators or others to lend a helping hand to a student or organization.

"Open Hour will give students an opportunity to share their thoughts with me," she said. "It will also give me a chance to get to know students better."

Open Hours are scheduled to take place in the President's Office, Room 706 of Culkin Hall, at 2 p.m. Feb. 13, 3 p.m. March 8, 2 p.m. March 14, 3 p.m. March 29, 3 p.m. April 4, 2 p.m. April 12, 2 p.m. April 17, 3 p.m. April 24 and 2 p.m. May 1. Dates and times are subject to change.

Stanley added that she plans to make several unannounced visits to dining halls this semester to visit with students.
