    OSWEGO -- The third annual Oswego Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner, recognizing outstanding achievements on the collegiate level, will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom on the SUNY Oswego campus.

    This year's honorees include Linda DeRyke Eakin '86 (women's basketball and softball), Dr. John Glinski (athletic director and coach for basketball, baseball and tennis), David Lair (men's ice hockey), Peter Low '63 (men's soccer, basketball and baseball), Armond Magnarelli '50 (men's basketball and baseball), Fernando Suarez '74 (men's track and cross country) and Francis Verdoliva '74 (men's track and cross country).

    "This year's honorees represent some of the greatest athletes in Oswego State's long athletic history," said Betsy Oberst, executive director of the Oswego Alumni Association. "We are pleased to honor them with induction into Oswego's Athletic Hall of Fame."

    The Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2001 by the Oswego Alumni Association to honor those who have made outstanding contributions to Oswego State athletics. Its purpose is to perpetuate the memory of those who have brought honor, distinction and excellence to the college in athletics.
