SUNY OSWEGO SETS UP WEB SITE
LISTING, SEEKING SAFE ALUMNI
OSWEGO -- SUNY Oswego's Office of Alumni Relations has set up a Web site that lists -- and looks to list -- graduates in the New York City and Washington, D.C., areas who are safe in the wake of last week's devastating terrorist attacks.
"Because many of our alumni live and work in New York City and Washington, D.C., we thought this was an important service," said Oswego Alumni Association Director Betsy Oberst.
"We encourage local people who have friends and family who are SUNY Oswego graduates to find a way to let us know these people are safe," Oberst said. "Many people are looking for reassurance during this time, and we'd love to be able to provide some good news."
The Web site can be found at www.oswegoalumni.oswego.edu/ attackonamerica/.
