The SUNY Oswego Speakers Bureau serves up a world of ideas to community organizations and schools for meetings, classes and special events. All speakers are members of the faculty and staff who volunteered to speak, and they offer expertise on a variety of topics that reflect their scholarly pursuits or outside interests.
The Speakers Bureau is divided into two sections: Topics and Speakers. You can browse either section for information on a specific topic or speaker.
Interested organizations or schools are asked to contact a speaker two to three weeks before the date the speaker is needed. This notice period also applies to any advance deadline for an organization's calendar of events. In each speaker's listing are one or more telephone numbers. The first number, with a 312 prefix, is the person's office number. If a second 312 number appears, it is the department number. The numbers in parentheses are home telephone numbers. The area code in all cases is 315. Some speakers may also be reached by fax or e-mail. Arrangements can be made directly with the speaker for time, place and any honorarium or fee.
The SUNY Oswego Speakers Bureau is managed by the Office of Public Affairs. We will be happy to help with any problems locating a specific speaker or in finding a speaker on a special topic. Requests for assistance should be directed to: Speakers Bureau, Office of Public Affairs, SUNY Oswego, 210 Culkin Hall, Oswego, NY 13126, or you may call (315) 312-2265. We can also be reached by e-mail at nekritz@oswego.edu.
