Art Exhibition: Graphic Flash 3
Students from Amy Bartell’s advanced graphics class illustrate the flash fiction of writers from Leigh Wilson’s advanced fiction writing course; the collaborations range from micro-stories to illustrations to three-minute films.

Philip Cokorinos

Bass-baritone Philip Cokorinos is a frequent performer at the Metropolitan Opera; notable roles include Masetto in Don Giovanni and the English ambassador for the World Premiere of John Corigliano’s highly successful The Ghosts of Versailles. He has received glowing reviews with companies from coast to coast for his portrayal of Leporello in Don Giovanni.

The Oswego State Jazz Ensemble features international jazz artist and premier multi-instrumentalist Charles Pillow. The concert focuses on Pillow’s “De-orchestration” of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. The performance also includes pieces by Pat Metheny, Thad Jones, Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus and an arrangement of Joe Zawinul’s “Birdland” by Professor Emeritus Stan Gosek.
