INDIE SERIES CONCERT: Royal Bangs With Nick Cocks & Cemeteries
Doors open at 7 PM.
The headliner Royal Bangs is an indie rock group from Knoxville, Tennessee, that has appeared at events including Bonnaroo in 2008 as well as on The Late Show with David Letterman in 2011.
Nick Cocks is a SUNY Oswego students who frequently plays at Open Mic. He is from Oswego and enjoys creating electronic music and remixes.
Cemeteries is an indie pop band based out of Buffalo, New York. Their sound can be compared to bands such as Youth Lagoon and Teen Daze.

Rob juxtaposes Beethoven’s vaunted Les Adieux with accessible, modern works, proving that “all music was new once!” He also offers commentary to provide all listeners with context and understanding about each work. Don’t miss this performance!
Chris Held is an artist/designer and the co-owner of Von Tundra, an American design studio. He received an MFA in sculpture from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and a BFA from the Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland. His work rides the boundary between clean, minimal design and the hand made object. Von Tundra has created large-scale installations at High Desert Test Sites in Joshua Tree, California. Held’s work has been written about in magazines including Dwell, Surface, Art Papers and Portland Spaces as well as included on blogs: Designboom, DesignMilk and Dezeen.

Celebrate the season with the joyous sound of holiday music. The Festival Chorus will open with Bach’s Magnificat and State Singers and College Choir will present a varied program of Christmas music.

Oswego State Jazz Ensemble and Latin Jazz Ensemble present their fall concert with special guest trumpeter Brian Shaw.
Actor Carl Whidden returns to reprise the role of Scrooge that he played as an Oswego State student. This time, he plays all the other roles as well! A 40th Anniversary celebration of that holiday production by local legend and faculty emerita Rosemary Nesbitt.
