April – November 2014
Baroque pieces have been used in many different settings since their inception, from grandiose Romantic renditions to contemporary rock versions. This concert explores Baroque music as inspiration for different styles of dance: Modern, Classical, and, of course, Baroque. The concert features Ligia Pinheiro– dancer, historian, and choreographer– dance students, and Juan La Manna, performing and conducting.
