The Oswego State cross country team hosted the Oswego State Invitational on Sept. 8. Race information, a preview, and results are available at the invitational Web site.

Hunsinger promoted to Interim Head Coach

Oswego State promoted Andrew Hunsinger to interim head coach for the Oswego State cross country teams for the 2008-09 seasons. Hunsinger previously served as assistant coach for the teams in the 2007-08 seasons.

Laker men earn national All-Academic Team Award for 2007

Oswego State’s men’s cross country team has been named as a winner of the 2007 NCAA Division III USTFCCCA Men’s All-Academic Cross Country Team Award by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Lakers compete at NCAA Regionals;

The Oswego State cross country teams participated in the NCAA Regionals at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on Saturday morning. The Laker women finished 22nd out of 37 teams and the Oswego State men were 21st out of 39.

Lakers compete at NYSCTC Championships

The Oswego State cross country teams participated in the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Championships in Saratoga Springs on Saturday afternoon. Oswego State’s men’s team finished 12th in a field of 15 teams and the Laker women were 13th out of 16 teams.

Laker men finish seventh, women eighth at SUNYAC Championships

The Oswego State cross country teams competed in the SUNYAC Championships on Saturday at Potsdam with the men’s team finishing seventh and the women’s team finishing eighth in the 11-team competition. Cortland won the men’s race and Geneseo won the women’s race.

Laker men finish fifth, women are seventh at Hamilton Invitational

The Oswego State cross country teams participated in the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday in Clinton. The Laker men’s team finished fifth in a field of 10 teams and the women’s team finished seventh in a field of eight.
