HEAD COACH TRACY BRUNO
Tracy Bruno enters her third season as Oswego State women's basketball coach for the 2009-10 season. In 2008-09, Bruno led the Lakers to an overall record of 11-15 and a SUNYAC record of 9-7 to earn their eighth straight trip to the SUNYAC playoffs.
In her debut season, Bruno guided the Lakers to a 15-10 overall mark before falling in the quarterfinal round of the SUNYAC playoffs. The squad also qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate Tournament, defeating highly regarded St. John Fisher College in the opening round before losing to SUNYAC rival Cortland in the semifinals.
Bruno came to Oswego State after having served as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Hillsdale College, where she helped lead the Chargers to a 19-9 record in the 2006-07 season and an appearance in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship game. Bruno was responsible for recruiting at Hillsdale, assisting in all areas of on-court coaching in practices and games, coordinating travel, fundraising, and community service, and acquiring and editing game film. She supervised the team's academic progress, and Hillsdale's women's basketball team had the 11th-highest cumulative grade-point average in Division II as recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
Bruno has other coaching experience in women's basketball and softball at Alpena Community College, as well as experience teaching physical education.
Bruno is a 1994 graduate of Saginaw Valley State University where she was a five-year member of the women's basketball team and a two-year captain. She was selected to all-conference, all-defensive, and all-academic teams throughout her playing career and was a member of a Saginaw Valley State team that played in the NCAA Division II Tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16. Bruno earned a bachelor's degree in physical and health education, and a master's degree in educational leadership from Eastern Michigan University.

ASSISTANT COACH ERIN SKARADEK
Erin Skaradek, a 2008 graduate of Elmira College, begins her second season as assistant coach for the Lakers' women's basketball program in 2008-09. She also starts her second season as the interim head coach of the Oswego State women's tennis team for the 2009 season.
Skaradek, a native of New Hartford, NY, played a vital role in the development of the Elmira women's basketball program, serving three seasons as an assistant coach to the Soaring Eagles' junior varsity team. During her tenure, Elmira claimed the Empire 8 Conference regular season title during the 2006-07 season, posted back-to-back runner-up finishes (2006, 2007) in the Conference post-season championship tournament, and earned repeat Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate Championship berths (runner-up in 2006, quarterfinalist in 2007).
During the 2005-06 season, Elmira was one of the ten most improved teams in NCAA Division III, finishing with a 19-11 record after finishing 8-17 the year before.
Skaradek, who also served as a sports information student assistant and manager of the Soaring Eagles' women's varsity lacrosse team, graduated with dual bachelor's degrees in Childhood Education and Anthropology & Sociology. She also has a New York State teachers certification for childhood education (kindergarten to fifth grade).
