Oswego State Women's Lacrosse
Head Coach Marushka Eddy

Marushka Eddy

Oswego State hired Marushka Eddy as its women's lacrosse coach in June of 2006. Eddy joins the Laker coaching staff after a successful playing career at Plymouth State in Plymouth, N.H. and coaching experience at Springfield College and American International College in Springfield, Mass.

Eddy played in 65 games for the women's lacrosse team at Plymouth State and missed just four games in her four-year career. She finished with nine goals and three assists as a defender and midfielder. She has lacrosse coaching and recruiting experience at Springfield and AIC and has been a girls lacrosse official in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

She looks forward to building the lacrosse program throughout the year.

"I'm ecstatic about the season. I've had some time to do some recruiting of players and in having the opportunity to meet with some other coaches I have an idea of what is needed to be successful," Eddy said.

Eddy, a native of Nantucket, Mass., graduated from Plymouth State in 2004 with an undergraduate degree in Physical Education and will earn her master's degree in Physical Education from Springfield College later this year.
