Sophomore Kristen Hemingway (Manlius/Fayetteville-Manlius) teamed with junior Katie Keller (Hamburg/Frontier) for an 8-3 victory at first doubles to lead The College at Brockport tennis team to a dominating 8-1 victory over Oswego State on Friday afternoon at Brockport.

With only six players on the roster for the remainder of the season, the Oswego State women’s tennis team traveled to SUNY New Paltz to face the defending SUNYAC champion Hawks, where they dropped their fourth straight conference match with an 8-1 decision.

The Oswego State women’s tennis team dropped two of three doubles matches and claimed only one of the six singles matches later in the day en route to its third straight defeat of the season, losing 7-2 to SUNY Cortland on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the Onondaga Hall Tennis Courts on campus.

For the second time in as many weekends, the Oswego State women’s tennis team saw another chance at victory snatched away, dropping a 5-4 decision to host SUNY Fredonia in a battle that came down to the final singles match.
