The Office of International Education and Programs (OIEP) is responsible for two distinct campus services: Education Abroad - which manages study abroad programs within all four of SUNY Oswego's schools and colleges; and International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) - which oversees a suite of support services provided to the college's international student community. In addition, OIEP supports globalization activities within the university's academic departments and encourages a vibrant international campus culture.

Education Abroad

OIEP's Office for Education Abroad sends over 400 students per year on more than 80 overseas academic programs to over 30 countries. Roughly 20% of SUNY Oswego students participate in an Education Abroad program at some point during their college studies, making SUNY Oswego one of the leading campuses for study abroad in the SUNY system.

Studying abroad is the single best decision I have made while being here at SUNY Oswego. It will show you so many things about yourself that you would not be able to find out otherwise.

Now that I'm in Oswego, I can't imagine myself anywhere else.
