Thanks to 7,533 alumni, faculty and staff, parents and friends of SUNY Oswego, The Fund for Oswego raised $3,053,171 from July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010.
Charles Trabold ’50, M ’53 fell in love with his first wife, the late Nancy Busco Trabold, for her love of life, art and colors. Now he and their three daughters — Marilyn, Lisa Trabold ’04 and Beth — are keeping Nancy’s memory alive by supporting a scholarship for an Oswego female student interested in the fine arts.
As a teacher and mentor, Professor Emeritus of Chemistry Richard Shineman touched the lives of thousands of Oswego students. Since his passing in May of this year, he will impact generations more, thanks to his generous $100,000 bequest to the college.
