Journalists can find more than 100 experts at SUNY Oswego who can address a
range of issues through our Experts' Guide.
Managed by the Office of Public
Affairs, this guide assists members of the media as they seek authoritative
sources for background and expert commentary on current events as well as ideas
for feature stories. This directory lists faculty and staff at SUNY Oswego
willing to respond to questions from the media on matters in which they have a
significant degree of expertise.
The directory is divided into Top
Topics, a selection of issues that receive the most requests, and General Topics, an alphabetical
listing of topics for which college faculty and staff have volunteered their
expertise. You may browse those sections alphabetically or use our new search tool.
Each section lists the resource person's full name, title and telephone number.
The 312- telephone number is the person's departmental or office number. The
home telephone number follows in parentheses if sources are willing to be
contacted at home. Area code for numbers is 315 unless otherwise specified.
If the topic you seek does not appear in the directory, please contact the
Office of Public Affairs for further assistance at proffice@oswego.edu or 315.312.2265.
- If you are an Oswego faculty of staff member who has expertise you would like
to share with reporters, contact Tim
Nekritz for more information on how to become part of the Experts
Guide.
