Messina and Merlin Earn All-America Honors, McMahon Receives Honorable Mention All-America Honors At NCAA Championships

Oswego State men’s divers Eric Messina (So., Latham, N.Y.) and Shawn Merlin (Jr., Palmyra, N.Y.) capped off a successful season at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships by finishing fourth and seventh, respectively, on the 1-meter springboard. Messina recorded 490.60 points in the finals after scoring 491.30 points in the preliminaries. Merlin improved on his 459.15-point performance in the preliminary round by posting 476.45 points in the finals.
