Oswego State Grapplers Place 12th At Doug Parker Invitational

Chris PayneThe Oswego State wrestling team scored 52.5 points to finish in 12th place out of 18 teams at the 20th Annual Doug Parker Invitational hosted by Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. The Lakers were led by sophomores Chris Payne (Farmington, N.Y.) and Blake Fisher (Seaford, N.Y.), who earned fifth place in their respective weight classes.

Williams College took first place honors with a final team score of 136 followed closely by Brockport at 133.5 points in second.  Wesleyan, Springfield, and RI College rounded out the top five at 124.5, 119, and 111.5 points, respectively.
