Pride Alliance is totally doing a much better job now; I agree. The blog entry to which you replied is old, and I have since posted a blog entry that discusses how the organization has changed for the better.

Thankfully now that the organization is under new leadership many changes have occured, the meetings are now thoughtful and productive and PRIDE is very active on campus, last semester they had a whole month dedicated to OUTober and every day had at least one event. Although this is fantastic to see there is still a large amount of work to be done if we want to make SUNY Oswego an LGBTQ friendly environment.

I am very interested in the LGBT community at Oswego. As a transfer student, and having had an excellent experience at my previous school with such an organization, I feel sad of such report you posted. Im not disagreeing with your observations, but hoping some of the leaders will see it and make rational choices to improve an organization that should be a valuable asset to our community. Creating an environment to welcome students not put them in awkward and potentially sexually harassing situations, both of which I find disgustingly and blatantly inappropriate.
