Living on campus can merge with
opportunities for personal growth. Two residence halls -- Johnson Hall,
home of our First-Year Residential
Experience, and Hart Hall, which hosts the Global Living
and Learning Center -- serve as "learning
laboratories" that emphasize this effort. The First-Year Residential
Program fills the renovated Johnson Hall, helping new students learn about the campus and themselves in a supportive environment. The
lively atmosphere of Hart Hall, which focuses on global issues and cultures as
well as community services, is often abuzz with presentations, meetings and
other activities.
Oswego also offers a variety of smaller
Living and Learning Communities in other residence halls. These communities offer first-rear students the opportunity to
take classes and live with students in the same major or with similar
interests.
