First Year Program - Extra Night Lodging This is for students who have made arrangements to come a night early. Check-in for early arrivals will run from 6:30pm until 9:30pm in Riggs Hall on the following dates (6/29, 7/6, 7/12, 7/15, 7/19, 7/26, 7/29). You MUST have made arrangements for extra lodging. You will not be permitted in the building without a reservation.

- Parking is available in lots R-4, R-9, R-17, and R-23. Campus Map
- On-campus meals will not be available on these days. Friendly's, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Dunkin' Donuts, Fajita Grill and Subway are within walking distance of the college. You may also call for a delivery to the residence hall (delivery fees may apply). Please ask our Laker Leaders if you have any questions.
- Students who have requested lodging will stay in Johnson Hall which is air-conditioned. Parents who have requested lodging will stay in Riggs Hall which is also air-conditioned. Students should pack separately from guests as they will be staying in different halls. Linens (sheets, pillow, blanket, washcloth, and towel) will be provided for each registered guest. Only paid program participants are allowed overnight in the residence hall.
- Be sure to bring an alarm clock, robe, shower shoes, and toiletries.

- All Childhood Education majors are required to take the Math Proficiency Exam.
- This exam beings promptly at 8:30am.
- Student activities will run until about midnight on Day one.
- Parent and Guest activities will run until about 10:00pm on Day one.
- The program is expected to end at approximately 4:00pm on Day two.

Please bring a pen or pencil with something to write on and be sure that you have completed the New Student Checklist

Dress is casual. Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking around campus.

Meals provided will include, lunch, dinner, and evening snacks on Day one, as well as breakfast and lunch on Day two.

When you receive your bill for the Fall 2009 semester, you may pay the bill online through myOswego or in person during your Orientation program.

Please notify the Orientation office of and special physical or dietary needs at least two weeks in advance of the program you are attending.
