HOUSING REQUIREMENTS
All first year students are required to live on campus for two years; transfer students are required to live on campus for one year (or one semester if they enter in the spring semester). Click here for more information, including specific approved exemptions (pdf 107kb) to this policy.
Housing assignments
are made based on the date your housing deposit is received by the
College. The earlier a deposit is received, the greater the chances you
will receive your highest preference (for a specific building,
roommate, etc.).

HOUSING ASSIGNEMENT Process Overview
Returning students participate in the Housing Selection process to reserve their residence for the upcoming year. This process will be handled completely online this Spring, beginning in February. The first step in the process is payment of a Housing Deposit.
New/entering students housing assignments will now be done through an online process called "ApplyOnline." After paying the Housing Deposit, new students will be sent information regarding when and how to log-on to the system. Through ApplyOnline, students will indicate their preferences for housing and roommates (if applicable). New students housing assignments are made based on the information provided through ApplyOnline.
Although entering students (first year, transfer and readmitted) are given no guarantee of assignment to a specific building or room, every attempt is made to honor students' first or second preferences. Also, the Office of Residence Life and Housing will attempt to honor roommate requests when all students involved have mutually agreed in writing at least sixty (60) days prior to the upcoming semester's first day of classes. The College will assign roommates for students who do not express roommate preferences. In general, incoming students are assigned rooms based on the date their Housing Deposit is received by the College. The College does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, or affectional orientation in those assignments.
