End of the Semester Online
Course/Instructor Evaluations

Part I:
Requirements:

1.  Gain access to computers for the day you plan to complete the course evaluations and/or,

2.  Ask students to bring their laptops to class on the day you plan to complete the course evaluations and/or,

3.  Ask students with SMART phones to log into Angel to complete the course evaluations (Look at the bottom left hand portion of the login screen and use the PDA MODE.)  and/or,
4.  Sign out Ipads for the day you plan to complete the course evaluations (Look at the bottom left hand portion of the login screen for the PDA MODE) and/or
5.  Use the inclass podium to have each person sign into their Angel account to complete the course evaluation.

Part II:

Notes:

  1. Expect to devote 20 minutes of your class time to complete the evaluations. Follow this link to view instructions for the day of the evaluation and the evaluation form.  What should I say to students about the online evaluations?

  2. At least 90% of your class should complete the course evaluations. It is your responsibility as a professor to ensure this miniumum requirement is met.

  3. Faculty always have control over when students will complete the course evaluations. Follow this link to change the date in ANGEL if you want to change the access date.  What if I want the date to be changed for the online evaluation.

  4. The department enables the course evaluations, but if you wish to complete the process on your own, then follow this link to get directions on how to enable your course on your own.  How do I enable my ANGEL shell to do the online evaluation?
  5. The Department office reminds students, via email, to complete the course evaluations, but students typically do not take the time outside of class.

  6. Faculty have no access to course evaluations online, and the student responses are 100% anonymous. The department secretary pulls the evaluations from Angel and sends them to each faculty member no sooner than one week after grades are posted for the given semester.
