Terms of Use
GET Food is an online ordering platform that allows you to order from restaurant partners using your Laker Dining Dollars after 7 PM for delivery on and off campus and these transactions are subject to the same laws and rules governing meal plans in New York State.
- You must present your valid SUNY Oswego Student Identification to receive your order from our off-campus partner restaurants just as you need to at a dining center or retail location on campus.
- You must use your campus email address in the registration process and as your login credentials. This helps to protect your account.
As part of our continuing efforts to provide excellent service, we want to share with you some answers to frequently asked questions.
- How do I check my Laker Dining Dollar balance?
Log in to GET Food with your SUNY Oswego email address and password. Select the Account Overview tab. Your balance will be listed next to the account name.
- Can I view my order history?
Log in to GET Food with your SUNY Oswego email address and password. Select the Account Overview tab. Your most recent transactions will be listed below the section listed as My Recent Transactions. To view all your GET Food Orders, click on the link to View all Transactions.
- What do I do if I think one of the orders listed is not mine?
Just like with your credit card, we have a dispute resolution process. You have 30 calendar days from the date of the order to contact us regarding an order that you question. You can reach us at getfood@oswego.edu. We will review the files from the specific vendor and get back to you regarding whether the charge belongs to you. If we find it does not, we will credit your account.
- Why does the vendor need me to bring my SUNY Oswego Student ID with me to get my food?
The driver checks your ID to make sure the person who placed the order receives the food. By swiping your ID, this becomes your electronic signature saying that you received your food. They will not deliver it without you presenting your ID. This also protects your Laker Dining Dollar account.
- Why do they ask me to sign the order slip?
This is done as a back up to the electronic swipe of your SUNY Oswego ID. In some cases, your card will not swipe as it has a scratch or significant wear to the magnetic stripe.
- Can I send my roommate or friend to get my order?
Simply, No. As stated in the ID Policy and ID FAQ , no one else is permitted to use your ID in order to protect the potential value that is on the card.
- Why does the system log me out?
We have set up the system to protect your personal information and your Laker Dining Dollar account. The system will automatically log you out after a minute of inactivity.
Please know that you are responsible for the safety and security of your GET Food account. Never share your account information with anyone. If you have lost your ID, you can stop by the ID Office in 503 Culkin Hall for a replacement or at a dining center or retail location and we can issue a temporary block on your ID.
