Congratulations - You Have an Offer!
Now that you have accepted an offer, it is time to start REALLY impressing your supervisor! A few things to keep in mind:
- We would love to consider highlighting you on our Wall of Fame in the reception area of the Compass and/or on our website. Please fill out a quick online form and help US help YOU celebrate!
- Thank you notes. A thoughtful note thanking them for their time during the interview, reiterating your interest in the organization, and letting them know how much you are looking forward to the opportunity helps you look like the professional they selected!
- Consider earning academic credit for the internship! If you are working with a site with which the college does not have an established relationship, SUNY Oswego’s Center for Experiential Learning will need to work with you to develop affiliation agreements, etc. This process can take up to 6 months, so loop The Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) in EARLY.
