Faculty instrumentalists to offer 'Beats and Brass' at SUNY Oswego

SUNY Oswego music faculty members Eric Schmitz, Terry Caviness and Thomas McGrath will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, in Sheldon Hall ballroom in a Focus on Faculty Series concert titled "Beats and Brass: An Afternoon of Percussion and Trumpet Music."
Schmitz and McGrath on percussion and Caviness on trumpet will showcase a diverse repertoire of music from an array of contemporary works by Anthony Cirone, Mark Glentworth, Gene Koshinski and other composers.
Tickets are $8 ($5 for students) and are available at the door starting 30 minutes before the concert.
Parking is included in the price of a ticket and is available in the employee and commuter lots adjacent to and across Washington Boulevard from Sheldon Hall.
