SUNY Oswego recently hosted the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda 2016 New York State Leadership Conference, which included workshops, networking and competitions in such topic areas as business ethics and public speaking—qualifying 23 students from the Oswego chapter to attend the national conference June 24 to 27 in Atlanta.
Oswego School of Business juniors Mark Prezioso (center), a finance major, and Elena Margrey (right), a five-year accounting/MBA major, will serve as 2016-17 president and secretary, respectively, of the state organization. Other officers (from left) are Nathan Wagner of SUNY Morrisville, marketing director; Ryan Bank of Mercy College, executive vice president; and Mary Golden of SUNY Binghamton, parliamentarian.
“We were ecstatic with the results from the State Leadership Conference,” Prezioso said. “The reviews that we have received from the other universities have included nothing but good things.”
