TIP Grants 2021-2022 Update - Spring opportunities announced
-
Sean - Spring version of TIP Grants. $30,000, due on May 27th.

Educational Technology committee meeting - John - mainly talked about classroom technology. Much of the discussion focused on where there is a need. In John’s opinion. We haven’t really improved our technology in the current classrooms. Most faculty are bringing students in remotely. If we are only doing one hyflex classroom a year, it will take a long time. Also discussed that it would be helpful if there were two monitors at the podiums.
Sean pointed out that CTS is looking at hybrid and hyflex as different sets of classrooms, and most classrooms in the college are hybrid classrooms. The team will come back and report on this in the Fall.

Update on Multi-Factor Authentication, has been implemented to a large degree. Currently affected are those that use Zoom and Blackboard. The college will be moving to a federated login. When we do, people who complete time and attendance, will see the MFA login and then be affected by the change. Right now our goal to implement this is June 13, still have some backend items to fix. When we are all set, we will start communicating again to the campus so they are aware the change is coming.
-
Digital Learning Environment - Kathi & Theresa
-
Print Initiative - Nicole - Have quite a few departments that we are working with. SOE, Residence Life - making plans for the residence halls. Compass - having issues with BizHub, they will be consolidating to one colored printer and BizHub. SUNY and Pharos will be coming to campus sometime within the next ten months. Hopefully by then we will have completed our first pass.
