SUNY Oswego Wireless Network

SUNY Oswego has installed many wireless network access points across campus. Various academic and residential spaces have coverage. To find out exactly where wireless networks are enabled around campus, please view our wireless locations.

Using the SUNY Oswego wireless network requires a one-time configuration necessary to set up your device for secure access. In order to connect to the academic wireless network on a PC, Mac, or an iDevice (iPads, iPhones and iPods), simply connect to Oswego-Secure and enter your Laker NetID and password. Please see How to Find and Connect to the Wireless/Wired Network at SUNY Oswego. Gaming devices will need to be registered at mydevices.oswego.edu before connecting to the Residential network. Oneida and Funnelle Hall wired connections will need to be activated by Campus Technology Services(CTS). Please Submit a Ticket for activation and provide your building and room#, network port name, and port color. Please see Wireless FAQ for more information on the campus network.

If you need to create a wireless guest account for a visitor, follow the Campus Guest Wifi Instructions. Please note that only SUNY Oswego faculty and staff have the ability to create these accounts.

Please Note:  Kindle and Nook e-ink devices are not able to connect to the campus wireless network. Wireless speakers, the Amazon Echo or Google Home, wireless printers, Chromecast devices, or common smart home devices like smart light bulbs are not supported.
