History
Function
The Village is a unique on-campus living environment that houses 350 upperclassman. This living community is comprised of 12 living blocks, with each block consisting of between five and eight townhouses. There are 4- and 6-person living options, giving each person their own room, a shared bathroom, a furnished living room and full kitchen. This living community was opened in 2010 to give students of junior and senior standing the feeling of living off campus, while still enjoying on-campus amenities. The Village offers its residents the “Village Commons” as a recreational area. The space includes a help desk, a print center and mailboxes for each resident. The Village Commons also offers a coffee cafe and two levels of community space, including two study rooms and a recreation room.
