The campus community can still make spirits bright for local children in need through SUNY Oswego's 37th annual Toy Drive, with information, boxes and contacts in buildings across campus through tomorrow, Dec. 10.
The SEFA (State Employees Federated Appeal) planning committee coordinates this annual drive.
The Toy Drive asks members of the campus community to consider bringing in an unwrapped toy, which will be distributed by the Oswego County Children’s Fund to kids in need around Oswego County. Look for trees and wreaths around buildings with a little more information on children in the program, and what presents they want.
This year the campaign expects to serve 1,500 children in the Oswego County area.
If you would prefer to participate with a monetary donation, checks (made out to Auxiliary Services - Toy Drive) may be sent to Cathy Johnston at 702 Culkin Hall.
All donations and proceeds will support the local distribution to families in Swetman Gym on Sunday, Dec. 15, by Oswego County Children’s Fund (volunteers are still needed to help distribute; learn more via this website and form).
Visit the SEFA website to learn more about SEFA and how it supports community causes.
