The SUNY Oswego Workgroup on Accessibility Practices invites the campus on a journey to make SUNY Oswego more inclusive and accessible. Members of the campus are invited to participate in the second pilot of our asynchronous course, “Access: A quest toward inclusion” from Oct. 28 to Dec. 8. Use this link to register.

This course is designed for all of our campus community. Professional staff, faculty and students are all encouraged to participate. Learn new digital skills, discover resources, and connect with others embarking on this quest. Organizers looking forward to helpful feedback from participants.

Features of the course include:
- Asynchronous, self-paced, flexible
- Administered through Brightspace
- Non-credit bearing - participants will receive certificate of completion

Participants in “Access: A quest toward inclusion” will:
- Create awareness about the need and importance of a proactive approach to accessibility
- Build confidence and competency in creating accessible digital content
- Increase knowledge and skills for decision-making related to choice and evaluation of tools, approaches and resources to share
- Generate support to promote and lead a more inclusive campus culture
- Be able to provide feedback during the pilot to improve the course for a launch across the SUNY system
