In collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Students, Oz Peer Educators and Alpha Phi Omega, SUNY Oswego will host Akuma Cultural Education and their Adanfo Drumming and Dancing Ensemble from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, on the Academic Quad in front of Penfield Library.

The campus community is invited to experience the rhythm and energy of the troupe, also gaining an opportunity for immersion into African culture and learning the rich history of African drumming and dancing during this workshop.

If the weather does not cooperate, the workshop will move into the food and activity court in Marano Campus Center.

People are invited to stay after the drumming and dancing event for the last Open Mic Night of the semester. Following the performance, the Oz Peer Educators will host the Open Mic Night from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The campus community is invited to showcase their talents or enjoy performances from peers.

These two events are completely free and open to all.
