The Advisement Center is hiring Advisement Guides for the Fall 2024 semester. Advisement Guides work as peer advisors helping students learn the ropes of college. They provide academic support and help link their peers to campus resources.

Advisement Guides earn upper-division credit the first semester in the program, and then move on to do a paid internship the second semester. Each semester after that, they get paid hourly for working in the Advisement Center.

If you are interested in holding a leadership position on campus while earning credit and getting paid, the Advisement Guide Program may be a great fit, organizers said. The application will be open until March 15 through Handshake.

If you have questions about being an Advisement Guide, email advisement@oswego.edu.
