The application deadline to apply to work with the Office of New Student Orientation has been extended. Interested students now have until 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, to take advantage of this paid opportunity to become a Laker Leader or Program Assistant for summer 2020.
Current staff will continue to table until applications are due in the Campus Center to answer any questions about applying. The paid summer positions offer resume-building experiences and new connections for any major. Helping over 1,200 new students and welcoming them to the college is an unparalleled opportunity, organizers said.
A Laker Leader or Program Assistant is provided free housing, a meal plan and parking over the summer while making an impact on incoming students and creating relationships with a staff of over 25 other student leaders.
Those interested in the job are encouraged to come to an information session at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Waterbury Hall, or 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in 141 Marano Campus Center.
