The Office of Sustainability starts the fall semester with the bi-annual Oz Thrift Sale, filled with new-to-you bargains and treasures through this weekend.

Hours for the sale, taking place in the Sheldon Hall lower level, are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday (Aug. 24 and 25), and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 26 and 27).

Note that Sunday is bag sale day, where visitors can bring in a bag and fill it for $5.

Oz Thrift Sales provide opportunities to find affordable essentials for campus living. Gently used items are donated by students while moving out to keep them from being thrown out. Every year, the sale keeps several tons of items out of the waste stream via instead finding new owners.

This sale will be cash only and patrons are encouraged the bring their own bags for items while they shop.

If you will be using a vehicle visit the sale, use Parking Lots C-15 and E-15 located across the street from Sheldon Hall.
