Viewing and voting are open for the popular Baskets of Caring event, sponsored by SUNY Oswego's State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) campaign in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Baskets of Caring will run virtually via online sales through Friday, Nov. 12. The following week, sales will take place in person on the Marano Campus Center concourse from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 17 and 18.

By visiting the online Baskets of Caring site, members of the campus community can view various themed gift baskets and “vote” for their favorite(s). Each “chance” or “ticket”  is $1 that can be applied towards any basket of their choice. The link to buy online chances/tickets will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, with additional chances available during the in-person portion of the fundraiser.

Students, faculty and staff are all encouraged to participate, This is one of SEFA’s biggest annual fundraisers, raising thousands of dollars every year -- always with many baskets to choose from.

Drawings will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, in the Marano sales area, and basket winners will be contacted immediately to arrange pickup.
