Grades export updates
The Digital Learning Environment (DLE) implementation team is happy to announce that student identification numbers and email addresses are now included in the Grades file export. The student identification column is the last column on the right. Email addresses reflect the student’s current address in Brightspace, which may not be their SUNY Oswego email address. If this is the case, the student will need to contact the SUNY Online Help Desk to have it updated.
Ally configuration update
On July 5, SUNY Online plans to update Ally to add foreign language translations to the alternative formats options that learners can use to view content. This change is to better serve Oswego’s students for whom English is a second language. The translation option will be available in the areas within Brightspace that Ally acts on. Additional details will follow that include which items are impacted. While this option can be disabled on an item-by-item basis, the DLE team does not recommend it as it will also disable all Ally alternative formats for that item.
